Been here 2 1/2 months. Have already sent $5k home and dumped $2,200 on a trip to Egypt and Jordan.

Food is cheap. Water is cheap. Electronics are cheap. Can't spend your money on booze-- Life is restricted and boring, but the savings potential is HUGE.
