Question - When would an F4 visa holder even be asked for these documents? The CBC has to be a national one from your home country, correct? Also, is the apostilled copy of your degree required?
What would be the punishment (for lack of a better word) if your school was audited and the MOE found out a teacher with an F4 visa didn't have these documents?
Can anyone provide a direct link to a government website that has this information? I have called the MOE, MOJ, and Immigration all day to get information for an incoming teacher who has an F4 visa but can't seem to get a straight answer from anybody. |
I think two things happen. One school needs docs on file for inspections and each teacher who work will need to send to MOE office.
Can not provide a link, but I would expect fines to the norm. Some schools will not think a 1,000,000 plus fine will be worth it. Plus possible fine for teacher too. Throw in the odd chance of snitch parents for money, more places will be careful.
This law is also an opportunity for more graft and bribery.
I think some schools will still risk it. I could see a change of F-4 being used a part time rather then full time.
Good Luck on the search. Also check out some news articles like Korea Times, sometimes they have some general info. |
