Isn't Korea always under siege from Blizzard?

Oh, you mean the weather, not the maker of Starcraft.

Whatever about a blizzard!
Expect public transportation to be more complex tomm..

Buses running very slowly-- little traffic n subways even more packed!

A low of - 14 overnight should ensure most people will take public transport tomorrow..

I'll finally get to use what I learned about digging emergency snow caves for protection during blizzards.

Blizzard no, but this morning's temperature was respectably cold, even for a Canadian. I think it was like -18 where I was. The high wasn't too bad, a balmy -6.

Currently -21 with the wind, that's a proper winter temperature there.

Indeed it is. I used to live further south on the peninsula, and there is like a 5 degree difference in average temperatures. And believe me that average 5 degrees does make a difference, especially in the winter.

Seoul -15
Busan -5

That 10 degrees does make a big difference. Imagine +25 vs +35.

There's snow in the US of A, and a lot of it in the Northern parts. However, Americans from those parts don't mention how cold it gets, or how much snow they get every 5 minutes like a Canadian.

Them Canucks ain't all talk either. I'll be wearing a full winter parka while the Canadian feller next to me is rocking a T-Shirt.

Yeah, my k-family always gives me grief for wearing t-shirts in the winter.

My son still has school but with a delayed start time for today and tomorrow. 10am vs 8:30. Didn't get the text from the school until I was cooking breakfast this morning, but tomorrow I'm going to enjoy sleeping in a little.
