Spanish is more or less entirely useless there. The only person I met who spoke it was my friend's 90 year old grandma. |

Palawan would be great IF the places worth going to were easier to get to. Getting to El Nido or Port Barton is a major trek of a bus ride, though the completion of an airport by San Vicente could change that.
I was there in 2010 and the only place I cared to visit was Honda Bay because I didn't want to spend 6+ hours in a bus getting somewhere. |
