This was what you wanted to add to the thread? Maybe you could surprise me and take the high road and delete your comment? |
My comment was no more off-topic than the tiresome crybaby whinge that Swamp has been copying and dumping on any thread that even mentions Samsung. He addressed none of your 3 questions either, so feel free to continue being a hypocrite or take your high-road and travel it yourself. |
Why the mods continue to let this troll reincarnation post on here is beyond me.
Please feel free to add something useful to this thread. |
Show me where your whinge was on topic at all? You failed to answer any of the OP's questions as well, so please, fall on your sword from your high, high horse. Whiner. |

I'm curious about what can be done with the Samsung Galaxys and the android system and have a few basic questions for those familiar with the Galaxys....
I'm assuming I'd need to use another computer on occasion for the unusual editing of a Word document etc...
AGain, any thoughts on this technological/philosophical question are really welcome!! |
To the poor little baby troll named Carbon who cannot read and needs cool his childish temper. Please notice that even the OP thinks you're a douche.
My post addresses the above issues posted by the OP.
1. I addressed connectivity and software in my post.
2. When the OP asked for "any thoughts" I was happy to give them.
Now when will YOU start contributing something useful to this thread? |

Ok. Just for you, teary.
1. Do most or all of the android programs for the Galaxy run offline or are they dependent on being online generally?
2. How close do you think you can come to replacing your laptop or desktop with something like a Samsung Galaxy? I'm assuming I'd need to use another computer on occasion for the unusual editing of a Word document etc..
3. Can you even setup a Galaxy w/o a base computer?
1. It depends on the app, but most run offline fine (so long as that is their intention).
2. Not close. A smartphone can not replace a computer as a work machine. Email, arsebook, surfing, games and video. Battery restricted. All on a 4 inch screen. Yay.
3. Yes.
Apple? Nice looking products, freakish followers. Just works = highly restrictive. Easy to use = simple users. First to market, aggressive advertising = huge popularity.
There you go swampy. Need some more tissue now, I suspect.
I await my iCookie. iDiot. |

Personally, I enjoy watching this clown self-destruct. |
