This is a typical story .......
Yes, you turned over your passport and for the most part that in and of itself was okay. But really you don't need to turn over your passport for the application process, they only need a copy. You do use your passport once in Japan of course and leave it with them for a few hours. And of course you do turn it over to immigration for a week or longer to get your ARC.
You won't get blacklisted and it's an idle threat and better yet, he claims you can get in trouble for working illegally there, well yes, that's true, however he's neglecting to acknowledge that you working illegally goes hand in hand with him working you illegally and he can be fined and received a jail sentence (though that's hard to get done). |
