It's part of the Korean labor law, they have to pay you severance, it's not limited to school, but other businesses as well.
Unless you work at a shady company, run by a shady owner, recently spoke to someone from the Bundang Hagwon association, he knows an ex-employee of 7s English in Bundang who is owed 8 years of severance!!! They kept promising him they will start paying monthly but it hasn't happened, he's planning to sue the school. It seems that school is either out to screw you or they're in deep financial problem. I kept hearing pension problem with that school as well. Use caution when dealing with that school. |
