You get your last payment + airfare (avg 3.3mil) back home with your last check. Your severance (avg 2mil) comes in 1-14 days after your last day. Pension (avg 2mil) comes last (could take a few months) and the school doesn't pay you that...the Gov't does. Total = about $7000.

So to answer your question, YES your recruiter is correct.
