I don't think there was an Irish tent. |

which booths are run by the embassy and which are for profit. the embassy run booths, are cheap and more friendly,.
|
It's funny you should say that. The British stall were run by the embassy and they had the most expensive beer. The beer was excellent though and Gavin's sausages are always delicious. |
how can it be run by the embassy when gavin sausages are being sold?
gavin is running those sausages.
and those guys selling the beer are out to make money. 8000 won a beer LOL
the friendship festival let the booth raise the prices on the products so people would open booths, before it was non profit, and booths dropped out, so they raised the prices to let people profit from it. so some booths are out for the money, while some others are out to promote, which I guess is ok. |

| The South African sausage was both mediocre and overpriced. Never trying that again. |
What was the name of the restaurant selling them in the South African booth?
The Afghanistan booth also had some good food, especially the chicken and vegetables on a stick.
BTW, who was selling the pumpkin bread? We bought some but for forgot who was selling it. Not bad. |
Braai Republic or something. |

Gavin is a volunteer at the embassy and is good friends with many people who work there. That's why he was invited to be part of the fair and why his food is sold in the Embassy on Friday night.
Your second point seems to correlate with my previous post. 8000 won is expensive and they were making a profit. It was a treat to get some real bitter though. |
