Oh yeah I know my writing is atrocious. It's one thing talking informally and being lazy than applying for a job. This is a forum and I don't think there is a certain rule that you can't make mistakes. Sorry if I offended anyone with my horrible writing.
And thank you very much for those tips wylies99 for those tips.
I think I pretty much got the hang of what I have to do, now just playing the waiting game. |

Everyone makes mistakes. Typos are forgivable; the occasional simple mistake or ambiguity is usually no big deal. Certainly, Dave's is a place where one can often write informally.
That being said, the written medium is the only method of communication in a forum like this, and the way someone writes greatly affects the way that others perceive him. For better or worse, the way you write influences the impression you leave on others.
Ogodines, you came here asking for advice. I, for one, have lots of advice to give. Many other people could also provide you with the advice you seek. None of us is under any obligation to help you. The decision about whether or not to provide you with information is going to be influenced by many factors, including the perceptions we form of you based on the way you present yourself in writing.
Just like I'm more likely to concede to polite requests than I am to demands, I (just like everyone else) feel more inclined to offer advice if you bother to communicate in a manner which suggests that you are an intelligent, reasonably mature and polite person. Comments like "It's one thing talking informally and being lazy than applying for a job. Smile This is a forum and I don't think there is a certain rule that you can't make mistakes." suggests to many of us that our time and energy would be better spent helping others. It's in your own self-interest to try to improve your written communication. |

Okay, point taken. I guess I can't take constructive criticism. Sorry for making a bigger deal than it was. I do appreciate all the advice and will be accepting more. I am still a student and have lots to learn including improving my English, so please bear with me.

Only after you've bought me dinner. But I shall bear with you as you research enough to figure out what you actually wrote there. (Sorry, I couldn't resist) |
