| Prostitution is okay, we just don't want to be seen negatively. |
It's a natural part of human societies and has been since the begining of mankind. That doesn't mean it needs to be broadcast everywhere.

Oh geez! [facepalm] You guys just never quit with the "pushing our Western way on Asia" routine. Guess what, the girls want plastic surgery and purses and they work a second job in an Officetel to get what they want. You think they are some delicate angels? They are business women, supply/demand, basic economics. They can make the fast money this way and so they do it. Who are you to tell them what they should do with their life? |
It's illegal in Texas! It's that simple, and I think these folks are embarrassed. Don't give me this thing about Western versus Eastern ways. Albania has lots of drug running and sex trafficking should we say that's okay because it's their "culture". I don't think so. If the women in question were trafficked then it's not just about simple prostitution. Look, if someone wants legalized prostitution in Amsterdam or Korea, that's their business. Korea won't even legalize it because it's too much of this acceptance and non-acceptance.
They just regulate the industry and collect taxes, and Koreans abroad are model residents, but a few have places of prostitution where it's illegal, and you will go to jail for it. Why do you dismiss human trafficking as some culturally acceptable thing? The women are not a bunch of businesswomen selling their bodies. |
