NINE fillings? Are you sure about that? Sounds pretty high to me. How long has it been since you went to a dentist outside Korea? I've heard stories of dentists here 'inventing' extra fillings to bump up their bills. I don't trust any of 'em here. I'm getting my next checkup and cleaning done in Malaysia.
And yes, do NOT get work done in Gangnam. Or Itaewon, either.
I had a crown done way out in suburban Seoul, and as I recall it was about 300,000. However, I had to fight off the ridiculous gold push. I will NOT put gold in my mouth. I'm not a pirate. Be aware that no matter what they say, you can get a porcelain to metal hybrid and there's no reason not to. |

where are all these dentists that shy away from anesthesia? I've been to several dentists during my time in Korea and they have all been as forthcoming with the good stuff as any dentist back home. |
