I had some roadkill once. I was driving into town, but still only about 1/4 mile from my place out in the country. I watched the driver in front of me clip a nice coney. He kept going, I pulled over and 15 minutes later the skinned and evicerated rabbit was cooling in a bowl of salted water. And 20 minutes later I was back in on my way to town.

My meat doesn't have to be fresh, but I have to be the person that dictates the terms of it's aging ( if it originates from a non-supermarket/restaurant setting ). Them I can sue.
