I don't know much about hockey. so tell me, is there a cliff in this game of chicken? How long can a lock-out last? Can it last a year or two? Is there anyone or anything that can 'bang heads together'?
It's killed a season before, and I think this time if it kills it again it might be done. As I said, if the players are smart, they'll go to other leagues and stay there for at least a couple years. An NHL team is nothing without the players. They can try to bring scabs up from the AHL, or something, but it won't be the same.
