If you have nothing to add to OPs request, move along.

But seriously. Do you have your F5 yet? Try to pretend love until then.

Vultures eh? Seriously the low-lifes that live in this country. If I ever got divorced I would certainly not stay. I would go home or go to China, Europe, hell, anywhere but here.

But the thing I'm curious about is if it's possible to divorce someone from outside the country. If you went home to Canada or the States or wherever, could you cancel the marriage from there and would be easier since it'd all be in English?

The marriage has to go through the court system where it took place. So if married in the US or Canada you would seek the divorce there.

I'd say get a lawyer don't ask for advice from here.

Unless of course you had two weddings, one in home country and one in Korea - in which case you might have to do a divorce in both countries, eh?

OP, have you considered giving this a bit of time to think about, your post seemed a little sudden. Is this something you've given a lot of thought to?

It's no secret that married couples have fights, hell everyone has their spats every now and again. There's always counseling too. Give it a chance. You might regret your decision later and then it might be too late.

Do you still love her?

Yeah so I googled it. It's the same procedure for getting married. First the Korean court, then the embassy. Sucks though if you living in North America. You'd have to fly all the way back just to get divorced.
