Yea, but would rather not unless I absolutely had to. Pride thing, I guess.
Knew one expat who would fairly regularly run out of money about 4-5 days before payday. He'd hit people up for 20K, 30K and buy ramyeon, cigarettes, and soju. I guess you gotta have the essentials. |

I went into the smoking room to have a little nip to calm myself, and it was at that very moment that I realized that the serfs had gone down to the village to retrieve the oysters that I was having flown in from Apalachicola and hence there was no one to open another bottle of Henri IV Dudognon Heritage. Whatever was I to do? |

Lost my job after a few months and got a position with a company that didn't provide key money or housing allowance. I had to make an agreement with the landlord to pay back 3 million in key money in 3 months
2.3 million paycheck
-600,000 rent
-1,000,000 key money savings
-200,000 for phone, utilities, T-money
_________________
500,000 for everything for the whole month.
Needless to say, those were a pretty shabby 3 months. |
