Dave's, a.k.a a place where dudes most likely with no game attempt to clown on others about picking up chicks. |
What the hell r u talking about man? I thought it was common knowledge that Language exchanges are really a front for waygook men to try to meet Korean chicks.
I mean do your thing and all, but let's be real, this method is kinda soft. |

Keep on keeping it real, man. Btw, language isn't a proper noun. |

Haha this is somewhat of a strange question but I feel uncomfortable asking it to any of my Korean co-workers/friends and I don't feel that my foreigner friends would give me sufficient answers. There is this Korean girl that I met a couple months ago in order to do a language exchange and things have progressed to where she is definitely interested in me, I just need to make the move.
However, therein lies the problem. I know how Koreans are about kissing in public and she doesn't want to come to my apartment just yet so we need to have the kiss somewhere, but where? There are always people EVERYWHERE, so where can we go to where it would be a good private place for a kiss? A noraebang? That's the only place I can really think off, or a DVD room I guess......... |
Oh man you know how to pick up girls. Take her to Yonsei university at night and kiss her in Chongsongdae. Daves esl cafe is an amazing place! |

Becoming a better teacher has improved my ability to pick up chicks....it's all about communication.
Likewise the more I get my game down with hitting on the chicks the better I have become at teaching.
They work hand in hand. |

Ahhh I get it now!
I was a bit confused as to why you originally went after me on this thread (and intentionally misquoted me as well) but now it's clear that you too likely use or have used the "lanGuaGe ExCHanGe" method to also meet K-women.
Anyways, I hope you've had success in that department and all, but you reallt can't disagree with the idea that these "exchanges" usually have an ulterior motive.
"Let's have a drink" is my ulterior motive so I guess I can somewhat relate. But I just find the whole "hey let's learn about each others languages and culture and study together" to be corny as hell. |

You are wrong in both points above. You had nothing to do with my original comment, so there was no misquouting of you, and no, I've never done language exchange. I'm married. Go have that drink. |

Looks like you're right. Major reading comprehension fail on my part.
Damn...gotta eat crow now. Banning myself from this thread.
My apologies. |

OP!
I'm here for you.
Take her up to the top of Namsan during the night, maybe late evening. There will be few people. During the hike you can kiss OR wait until you are both finished hiking to the top and then just unleash your saliva filled with the herpes complex at her.
I think Namsan is the clear winner. And It gives you something to do, like an event and such. |

I sure hope not.
In any case, if I knew the things back then that I've learned after having been married for so long I've lost count of the years...man, would my life have been simpler.
These are not clichs: the worst things that can happen really is rejection and a bit of awkwardness and there are plenty of fish in the sea. |

Planning a kiss is a bit dangerous? Puts the pressure on you big time.
If you gotta plan a location and time then you may as well plan duration of kiss, tongue action, hand positioning etc etc.
This way you can be totally prepared!
Honesty man - if you can't find a way to kiss her without offending her because she is "too Korean" then the relationship won't work. Find a situation that your comfortable in and go for it.
As others have said - there can easily be hidden language agendas with simply hanging out. Get on with the show and see where you stand . |

Hahahaaaa! Nice-uh!
Just do what I did. Get drunk, walk out of the bar and pull her into an alley and kiss her. Then be a man like I was and take her back to your apartment.
Too many beta boys running around like the OP being sissies when it comes to the ladies. sheesh. |

Yeah I was trying to be helpful with my first post but it's certainly odd to me to plan a kiss. They usually just happen and all. |
