You could probably get a teaching job at one of the lower tier international schools (the more established ones require a minimum of two years' experience). It's a proper full time job (unlike a hakwon job, where you just prep and teach your hours and that's it; at an international school you'll have to attend professional development meetings and be involved in extra curricular stuff etc) but if you value your vacation time then it's great.
If your focus is cash then you should look at teaching test prep. Test prep hakwons love people with degrees from 1st tier universities. It's a pretty intense environment though, since you're expected to produce tangible results.
You won't get a uni job unless you have experience. That's not individual school policy - that's the law. |
