| Nah, I can understand what you're saying, and I rarely get more than two toppings on a pizza, but a well prepared supreme pizza can be the bomb. I think the best way to compare pizza places is to compare their margareta, but to make an absolute about it is wrong. I make my own pizza and put all kinds of stuff on them sometimes. They come out winners. Not to mention that you can delicious pizza with multiple kinds of cheese, does that also count as toppings? |

Most of the time I agree with the one-or-two toppings policy, but occasionally, when a place knows how to do it without overloading the pie, I'll get onions, peppers, mushrooms, garlic, and olives.
Usually it's just mushrooms or mushrooms and peppers, though. |

| UNO's pizza in Seoul isn't bad if you like Chicago style. I much prefer a proper brick oven Margherita pizza. Done right, this is always a winner. Thank goodness that there are many joints here in Shanghai that do it right. |

| Actually, there are a few good pizza places here nowadays, but they're foreigner run. |

UNO is expensive, but I would say that it's the best pizza in Korea -- way better than Pizza Hut or any other similar delivery chain -- and one of the best I've had, period. |
Let me guess . . . you've never eaten pizza in the U.S. right? |
Then you are unaware of Chicago deep dish pizza and the fact that Uno is an American chain? Complete ignorance of the topic of this thread yet you keep posting. Wow. |
Nope. I've eaten at Uno's in the U.S. It was okay.
Pizza Hut and Domino's are American chains too. Doesn't mean that the Korean version is the same. I have yet to eat a pizza in Korea that was any better than a good frozen pizza is in the U.S. Heaven knows I'd like to be proven wrong, but to say that the best pizza you've ever had was in Korea suggests that that person is from England, South Africa or some other non-North American country. |

I should have been clearer in my post. The 2 topping was a general guideline, but I mentioned 3 toppers and specialty pizzas. My last line about having the volume of 2 toppings (where you can still have more toppings) was meant to include well-prepared specialty pizzas.
When talking about 4-5 topping pizzas, I more have in mind the pizza here (which is overtopped and overcheesed) and the pizza back home where you would get people ordering a large with pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, and extra cheese.
Working at a pizza place, if there was any mismade/canceled pizza that would go uneaten it would be the Meat Lover's. Sure, maybe the new high school kid would dig it, but everyone else would realize within a couple months how utterly nasty those pizzas are. |

| Not exactly NY style, but pretty decent (my friend taught the cook how to make it, and he knows his stuff) but O'Malley's in Incheon's Art Center has a nice pie. |

| I'd put UNO's in the same class as Bennigans. The worst western food chain restaurants in Korea, but if you are dying for western food and you are in a pinch, it'll have to suffice. I wish Tony Roma's was more popular here and expanded. |
