Thanks for all the help.
Im tired of all the "you might be sent to the military" nonsense. As stated in the thread, I was exempt from the military. As a matter of fact, I was legitimately exempt because of a surgery I received. Therefore, please refrain from posting anything regarding my duties to Korea in case I go. |
I hope you understand that being Korean and not doing your military service (whatever the excuse) means that you'll probably never get a good job in Korea. |
Not true, these days at least. I've met a handful of guys in their late-20's who have been exempted and have good jobs. Also, in the past if you were a 3rd-generation only son you got exempted. If you have a legitimate wavier it's no issue at all. Although in the past (up to the mid-90's) a male couldn't even get a passport if he was older than 16 and didn't complete (or get a waiver) from military duties. |

Okay, I stand corrected. I was under the impression they did not allow dual citizenship because I tried to get one back in early 2010 and was denied on the grounds that I was over 21.
With that said, OP, did you apply for dual citizenship in Korea? You need to apply while in Korea while on an F visa. If not, then there's no point in actually saying you have Korean/American dual citizenship.
with that said also, most gyopos make less than foreigners. Sad but true. |

It's pretty obvious at this point that you don't really know what you're talking about, so just stop.
Dual citizenship laws changed a couple years back.He also specifically stated he was a dual passport holder, which would indicate he's actually got two valid passports. |
