Question is, why are you so hell bent on putting the blame on her? Are you hiding something?

You got me! I broke one of the blinds in my classroom and blamed it on the afterschool teacher! Razz

I guarantee I've owned more vehicles in Korea than you have.

That's nothing to brag about! Stop buying crappy cars then? Rolling Eyes

That or you're the one who bought the car and didn't register it. Wink

And FYI, I've been living in Korea for nearly 20 years and I don't drive crappy cars (yes, plural).

LOL! How did you guess?
I personally know the OP, and the person who bought the car was named Lucas!
I've actually seen the e-mail from him promising to register the car and take care of the tickets! The D.A. tracked me down to ask questions about the car. I think the OPs old employer has all the e-mails, etc. At least that's what the D.A. told me.
If they catch you, Lucas, you're toast! Evil or Very Mad

Ha ha - Korean's don't keep anything for 1 hour longer than they have to!

Don't hold your breath about them having the emails.......

As for my name you've got me! (because of course everyone on Daves uses their real names for their user names).

Or maybe this is reverse phycology on my part to get out of paying my debts...... Who knows? Razz

This hagwon owner does! Wink
They sent me a copy of the e-mail today.
They are tired of getting tickets in the mail for the last five years.

"this is lucas from XXXXX. I bought the car off your previous employee a couple of months ago. I understand i got a speeding ticket.

i have jost(sic) got the details of your academy address from XXXXXXX and will visit you in due course to sort out the fine and the papers for the car.

i cannot do it just yet as i have no time off yet and i live far away. but it will be done soon.

dont worry,

lucas"

I'd count on a few extra years in Korea... Laughing
