| My wife has convinced me just to get a new cellphone. The contract on my Optimus Big is up anyway. The Kindle has a 15cm screen size. My Optimus Big is almost that now. So, I'll just get a new LARGE, extra VULGAR handapone. |

| I love my Kindle. I never buy books anymore; I just check them out from my local library, download them to my Kindle, read and repeat. |

I've been a Kindle-holic for about 3 years now. There are several options that you can choose from.
You can buy the cheapest ($69) Kindle and transfer everything via USB. Sign up for a card at your local library and you can get lots of free books. It has wifi, so you can also get books that way if you go to a wifi hot spot.
If you're more of a "I have to have THIS book right NOW" kind of person, spring for the pricier 3G model. You can one-click a book and it's immediately delivered to your Kindle.
I have 3 Kindles myself and am planning on adding a PaperWhite to my "library" this summer. If you have any questions about using a Kindle in Korea, PM me and I'll fill you in. |

@ajuma
Are you talking about a library in Korea? How do you go about downloading English books from a Korean library? |

| No, your hometown library...that is, if you're from the States. |

| I do not see how the fact that you are physically located in Korea is of any relevance to your choice of e-reader. |

I don't know what the situation is today, but at one time your location mattered when purchasing certain digital content. For example, when Apple first started selling music on iTunes you couldn't purchase a song while in Korea even if you were using a credit card from back home. |

I don't think it ever mattered for kindles or nooks... unless you were in a country that didn't have 3G connectivity, but even then you could've just uploaded your ebooks onto your device with a usb cable. |

can anyone point me in the direction of torrents containing ebooks written in korean? or any other way to source korean language epubs? some project gutenburg equivalent
or tell me how to get an ebook downloaded from yes24 or aladin from the crema pc reader onto a kobo without all the pages being blank? (i have korean fonts set up, fonts work on epubs i create myself, but when i take books from the crema download folder they are just blank pages, i assume DRM maybe) |
