I hope none of you misunderstand me. My wife is great. She's well educated, and worked at a great company for years. When the first baby was born we decided that she would quit and stay home. It was very important that our child be raised by its parents. I feel so lucky to have been able to give her the gift and duty of being a stay at home parent. Her parents live in Busan and mine in Atlanta. We've done everything ourselves.

As for work, I'm not digging holes. Basically I get paid to show up and listen while giving some guidance on word selection, grammar, etc. My days are long and somewhat monotonous but the work feeds, shelters, and provides entertainment. I'm so happy that my wife can take the baby to carribean bay and that they can have a membership at lotte world. I'm happy to sacrifice. I wish I could be home more, but that would meaning selling our apt. My goal is to keep making bank until it is time to leave Korea.

I do struggle with the question of whether I should cut back work to get more family time. At times I feel exhausted and distant from my wife. But these are problems that are mostly made by me. I wrote my op just to show you a day in my life...
I appreciate you reading it as well as all the comments.

Okay. You're life seems pretty depressing.

Here's what I did today.

Woke up at 7:something. Needed a piss so pissed in the water bottle next to my bed so I don't need to get out of bed. I cut a 2 liter water bottle in half because I piss a lot. You have to be careful you don't cut your dick on the sharp top part. After my piss I went back to sleep. Considered a wank but decided against.
Got out of bed at around 9. Emptied the piss bottle in the toilet and had another piss. Went to eat breakfast but realized there were no bananas left. Had some orange juice but there was just a tiny amount left. Looked on facebook and saw a picture of two young ladies in yoga pants. Considered a wank but again decided against.
Cycled to the boxing club. On the way I bought two bananas. They were too green and a pain to eat. Was going to use the treadmill but the fatties were hogging them so couldn't.
Went to the Homeplus local near my apartment to buy some bread. The fuckers were sold out.
Had a shower. Used that medicated shampoo that is supposed to cure itchy scalp.
Went to the big Homeplus. Bought bread. Saw twix icecream bars for half price. Bought two boxes. Bought two cans of carrots. They were about 300won. I love buying the discounted stuff. Bought some discounted chicken too. Chicken curry for dinner tonight, me thinks.
Came home and looked at my Korean study book. Why is Korean so fucking difficult?
Go to hospital. Have to wait for ages. Meet attractive doctor. We discuss my health. I reckon I'm well in there but the moment is ruined by me asking for a repeat prescription for hemorrhoid cream. Even the word "hemorrhoid" is fucking nasty. Who invented that fucker?
Decide to cycle to the other Homeplus nearby to look for more discount shit and avoid studying Korean. Buy discount mushrooms. 30% off. Another result. See the sponges I like so buy two packets. I hate washing dishes with the shitty sponges.
Get back home and consider having a wank. Decide against. I'll save it as a treat for later.
Watch tv for a bit. It's a bbc show called Hustle. The girl in it is a stunner. Store that tidbit in my head for the wank later.
Cook dinner. Decide to have fries with my chicken curry because I'm the fucking boss.
Post on Dave's about what I did today.
Feel happy that I get to do it all again tomorrow.
