During my first month or two here, I was hanging out with a Korean guy I'd met, since I hadn't really met many foreigners yet. We passed by the KFC in Itaewon at like 2 am and this guy became incensed upon seeing a bald guy sitting with two Korean girls at the window getting their grub on. He was so angry... "How does a bald guy have two Korean girls with him?!" The Korean dude turned out to be a freak and I cut those ties. Maybe it was his wife and sister in law though, who knows? I didn't care and my hair seems to be doing good, so whatever, but never underestimate the Korean man's wrath for whitey stealing his women. Wink

Are you really basing your decision to pack up your life in South Africa and fly all the way to the Far East to work based on the answers you get to that question? Will the girls like me? Honestly dude, just stay home. You sound like the perfect 'poster boy' for the anti-foreigner crowd in Korea. Confused

I do much better with women here bald, which surprised me. My former school made me wear a hat every day after I shaved my head, but it was fine with the ladies outside of school. I'm into the 35+ women, however. Maybe the young ones would rather have a guy with a lot of hair. But even a 20 year old came up to me at KFC, said "Let's go, Hamburger Boy!" and asked to go to my apartment straightaway.

The ladies of all ages seem to have a strong dislike for full beards, but when I have a Howie Mandel or a Plaxico Burress style goatee, it seems okay.
