Yes! I miss samjang SO much! Almost as much as kimchi (I live in small town BC Canada, neither of each to be had). But I brought some samjang back with me, and it kept for ages. That stuff on some good steak, or pork roast......uuuuhhhh food orgasm

haha, exactly. You don't have to gripe about it, just avoid.

If this is your biggest problem with living in Korea, you're doing great! Suggestion: get some spices and sauce mix packets in a home package...and cook food yourself. Tupperware is your friend!

Bossam is one of the things I'm going to miss eating once I leave Korea. I've never smelled anything bad coming from Bossam, must be the place you order it from. I must say that it is better in winter time when the kimchi is sweeter.

My favourite Bosam place is Sodamae. Their Bosam and Jokbal set is fantastic.
