Quote:
There's an old Chinese tale about a young man who wasted his family fortune in pleasure. He was wandering around in rags when he was approached by an old man. Old man heard his story and then asked "Do you think you've lived and done everything?" Young man replied: No, I want to go back to living the high life. Old man said: "Here's money, I'll be back when you're spent.
The young man went back to life of pleasure and spent another fortune. This money, eventually ran out as well. He was now ill with disease and was shown the door. Wandering in rags again, he met the old man once more. The young man said: I'm done with high life, but why do you keep coming back to me? Old man said: I believe you are ready become a holy man like myself. (a holy man in China is like an immortal but not a god) Come with me.
They went to a cave deep in the mountains. Old man prepared a potion and said: Drink this, you'll experience many things but what ever happens, you MUST NOT SPEAK until you're awake again. Young man drank it. He was born again as a baby girl in a middle class family. He kept mute. His family was wiped out in a war but fortuunately he was adopted by another. He kept mute. He grew up and got married to an uncaring and at times a violent husband. He still kept mute. He (she) gave birth to a baby daughter. Nearly into 40's now but he had still kept mute.
One day his(her) violent husband in a fit of rage, threw their baby daughter to the floor (obviously wanted a son). Through near forty years of tumult and hardship but he had kept mute but this was too much, so he let out a scream.

He was back in the cave with the old man. Old man said: You were so close to becoming a holy man! After all that, couldn't you keep silent for just a little longer! Well, you have failed. You aren't ready. Goodbye. The old man walked away. The young man walked down the road in rags. The world had remained the same, forty year hadn't passed, young man hadn't aged, in fact he looked slightly younger.

This fable is seriously flawed. No woman can keep their mouth shut for such a long time!

Haha, but that was a man in a woman's body, so she wasn't a woman.

An interesting documentary from Japan about Japan's endemic suicide problem.

So many children are needlessly unhappy because just being a good person is not enough. If given choice between a bad child but a good school report and a good child but a bad school report, the former is the choice. Sad

Never in recorded history has going on an Internet forum and wallowing in self-pity ever led to positive life changes.

If you are truly depressed, go and see a healthcare professional. if you are not truly depressed, grow some balls and do something about your life.

I wasted 5 years of my life trying to escape my own problems to bring them with me in Korea.

Im not in self pity, I feel like shit because I should of stayed in America but I left thinking my problems would go away.

Maybe getting attention form prostitues, was better than going home alone after being drunk in a NB club in Gangnam. Korean woman tend to be afraid of minorities, and thats what lead to my addiction to prostitues.

Everyone gets lonley, and this addtiction lead to my demise finacially, I am still haunted by this addtiction.
If you have money, it's easy to do. No man wants to be alone!
These kinds of things trapped foriegners and we end up broke, and on the verge of insanity!

I'm suprised I haven't committed suicide! Hey, I'm man enough to say," I need help"

I tried to get medication for my problems, but I heard that I could get bad side effects from it. So I deal with my mania, I paint, everyday, its what I love to do.

I don't have alot of friends that's why I come on this forum to rant, because it seems noone listen to me and I feel invisible. Everyday I think about killing myself, because of my mistakes I have made here in Korea my should of's and could of's.

The reason for my grammar mistakes, are because I'm trying to get out what's in my mind and it's fast, so I don't think to check I just want to be heard. This really does help me.

As a person who is over 40 I feel my life is a waste. I should have had kids and be married already. I tried to jump out my own window to committ suicide but I'm a christian so I thought twice about it and what if I don't die... I would become a vegetable. So I don't.. I really need a shrink but her in korea are useless. Have me pay $30 for 40 min to talk. It's a waste of my money.

Even now, I feel that I don't have no way out, yes people here on the forum make fun of me, but what I want is to rant this poison out of me so I don't go insane.
I just want to be heard!!! not to cause trouble. As an American why can't you help another American out!!

I need help!!

It doesn't matter if you die, because in your next life you will carry your traits with you. These "memories" are basically imprinted into your soul.

No, I'm afraid you'll just have to try real hard to change your ways and take that stick out of your behind because killing yourself just delays your goal by 30 years or so.

Plus, they say that when people commit suicide or die in a violent murder/death, that they remember their previous life for the first 7 years of their next. Suppose you're born into a family that is starving in Somalia. Death and war all around you. Yes, your next life will be monumentally worse than your current state of affairs.

You're going to start talking about how good you had it, and how sorry you are for leaving it all behind. Twisted Evil

You live in a country that is still technically at war. Korean, American and DPRK forces have been experimenting with mind control for 45 years.

You might be suffering from ELF or something...more sinister. You should seek some help to find out if you have any additional anomalies in your body that you may not be aware of.

Tracking
Cray computers, using artificial-intelligence, monitor the victims of government implants sending pre-recorded sound-bytes or occasional live messages. They are picked up by satellite and relayed to whatever large TV broadcasting antenna, GWEN tower or other microwave antenna is near the victim. It's believed that some type of body implants pick up the signal and broadcast the correct Tesla-wave pattern to create voices within the victim.

Since you're a Christian, why not go to church? Even on the way home from work tonight, an ajumma invited me into the church I was walking past. If I was Christian, I would've gone in. She seemed nice. I think you could probably stroll into churches uninvited and most would probably be glad to have you. If they try to pester you into putting money into the offering plate, just tell them you just don't have it to give and if that's not good enough, there are tens of thousands of other churches all over the place that you can go to. Surfing from church to church could even increase the number of people you can meet. There are almost as many churches as there are brothels.

Why are you lonely and going to brothels when you have a girlfriend? Isn't that the whole point of having one? If you're hard-up to get off, maybe getting off in some of the webcam chatrooms online could eliminate your current financial expenses of having an orgasm and you'd still have some human interaction, albeit online. Plus, it would be safer from a disease standpoint. But I really just recommend getting your relationship with your girlfriend back on track and between the sheets.

If you're suicidal, it sounds like you've hit rock bottom and things can only get better from here. I think if you can get your cash flow sorted out, things will work themselves out, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Just save your won/pennies/dimes/dollars and they'll accumulate. Even the biggest blizzards are only made up of mere snowflakes. And don't worry about not having a wife and kids. I'm in my late 30s, I don't have a wife, and I recently got a vasectomy despite having zero children and that's probably why I'm saving so much money.

You have your physical health, at least, right? That alone is a damn good foundation to work from.
