Maybe for having a "smoking hot" Korean girlfriend. Sadly, for some, that's enough of an offense.
To the OP: Try to get your friend to a hospital for an examination and at least get him to describe some of his symptoms. We had a coworker have a similar meltdown/borderline panic attack. They put him on a strong mix of drugs and within two weeks he was almost normal again. It was Saint Mary's Hospital in Seocho-gu, if that helps. Don't know the doctor or any details though. |

| Tell him to go home. Korea is not a mental health treatment paradise. He needs to receive treatment in a country and place he's familiar with surrounded by familiy and friends. |
