I would honestly say that the Dr. Evil grin with a pinky near his lips is a much better gesture when taking a picture than the V sign.

It's doesn't make me "upset", it's just boring...the same silly little gesture for any and every occasion over and over and over again.
I was at a wedding recently and the groom wanted a nice photo taken to give to his parents (since they couldn't be there)
The photo had to be taken 3 times before he finally had to tell a few of those in the photo to NOT make the "V" gesture.

This is why I stick to throwing up gang signs to make myself look like a badass while I'm taking a picture in my Member's Only jacket while eating at a sushi restaurant.
