There was a group a several years ago that was run by foreign English teachers. They advocated better work conditions and rights and such.
I think that at one point they split over some internal disagreements. I haven't heard about them in years though. I'm not even sure if either group still exists. If you're really interested in what they did, you can search through the VERY old forum threads to find out more. (Use Google to search the site though. The built in search function is terrible.) |

Getting paid a few days late is not much to worry about, however getting only part of your salary IS.
As long as you're getting your full paycheck, then I wouldn't fret about it.
Regarding a union, forget it, the people never stick around long enough
to really get it together. |

That's probably ATEK. They closed up shop a couple of years ago after internal problems and the bad press that got them. One of the guys who started it is still in Korea working for Amnesty International (unless he's recently left). |

| Hagwons are ran sorta like telemarketing and valet parking offices back home. You can get paid a little less and then they try not to a pay you when you quit, but they do pay when you mention that you'll report them. I don't know about them being the antichrist, but they are operating under a system of antichrist illuminati bankers who rule the world in a way that makes greed, corruption, and office politics the norm. Only those at the top and those who have it figured out are enjoying the party. |
