| Hey, I have to give props at dude at 1:00 for keeping cool. 4:44 was brutal though. |
1:00 did very well. Also, lucky no one was behind him. |

| I've said it before and I'll say it again, Korea needs some Denny's here to get some viral videos of some mayhem. Either that or some dashcam driver fail compilations ala Russia. |
There are so many Korean car accident compilations. How do so many drivers roll their cars over multiple times with out hitting anything or no ice or snow present. Truly amazing.

Wow. That was my dose of carnage for the week.
The bad weather ones, I get. Maybe even the late night ones... drunks and all. But so many of those were simply failures to stop at a red light and the like. |

| That car accident video. Yeah, the end was brutal (4:44) but not really unexpected for Korea and since it didn't look like a pedestrian crossing I can't fully fault the driver for the accident - though he/she did look to be speeding through flashing warning lights, which I believe means slow down and proceed with caution. Ultimately, it was the Korean "Let's run across this road without looking both ways" that resulted in likely death. |

Those Brits are good at speaking Korean. It looks like they study Korean?

I personally like this guy. No Korean, just great music. |

I think the 영국남자 is pretty cool, I was ready to hate him, but he is completely inoffensive. Plus you gotta admit he is clever, through those videos he has landed a commercial in Korea and you know it wont be too long before he is performing on variety shows. Its a cushy little number.
He certainly helps the positive depiction of British people amongst Koreans. Despite the fact that 'Gentleman' is the last word I would use to decribe any British male, it certainly is nice to be greeted by that particular stereotype everytime you get into a taxi or go for an interview. |

| I know we live in an age where celebrity is God and all that and everyone wants to be on TV but is 'landing' an advert really something that a lot of young people aspire to nowadays? Will his parents be proud when they see him trying to sell noodles on Korean TV? Maybe they will. |

No it was an SK telecom advert and I think it is pretty cool doing an advert in a foreign country speaking a foreign language. As a one off it is an interesting anecdote to tell the kids, but if it is the first of many it could be a nice little earner. |

I've seen the advert and foreigners in Korean adverts always have that Bill Murray "Lost in Translation" effect. It might look and feel natural to Koreans but the foreigner comes off looking like a right *beep*.
Edit, it seems tw@ is bleeped out. |

Wouldn't surprise me if his parents shouted him to cross the road or just didn't check if he was still with them when they crossed first.
Sadly, he will likely grow up to be another death statistic for road accidents. |
