In what way does this old fart look anything like a gangster? And while we are on the subject, what kind of gangster takes the train?

What a shite excuse.

News for you: real gangsters don't look like they do in movies. Lose the macho act before you wake up in a hospital. Cool

So what exactly is shouting Gangster at you?
The cheap suit? The satchel strap? The ear piece?

If you had any experience with or knew any Korean 'gangsters', you'd know that in fact this guy does not dress like one. On the contrary, the black suit, white shirt-a-la-potbelly and black tie is the stereotypical adjossi gangster attire depicted in Korean movies. Watch one some time.

You're only looking at the clothes. What else do you see, tough guy?
Laughing

LOL! I'm looking at the clothes because you were the one who said he was dressed like a gangster. And what's with the 'tough guy' comment? Am I acting tough by pointing out that you were wrong? Is that what a tough guy is too you? Must be a lot of tough guys in your world then.
And now you say the bruise is evidence he is a gangster? Or what ? His nose is bent? His hair is parted? What is it I'm supposed to see other than the fact that there's not much happening cognitively for you.

He just looks like an old asian guy in a suit that is upset about something. There is no indication at all that he is a gangster (no sorry but Asian Man in a suit does not = gangster), there is no evidence that he said what the girl is accusing him of saying. There is no reason she would physically assault somebody for saying what she accused him of saying either.

This is pretty sad and it sounds like some people are so ready to jump on the hate parade against old Korean men they will latch onto anything. How do you know she didn't spit on him and then snap his photo when he got angry about it? For the sake of your credibility please just stop. And even if this did happen, how is it news? I usually like Korea Bang, but of all the stories out there I have to wonder why they chose this pathetic excuse for an article.

Gangbang doesn't refer to rape either. Gangrape refers to rape. Gangbang refers to consensual sex between a group of men and one woman. Gangbang could also refer to gang members going out and doing gang stuff, like drinking 40's and making listening to their music too loud.

If you scroll down into that KoreaBang article's comment hell:

He was on his way back from funeral and on the said subway decided to inform the girl of how wearing 'wearing hot-pants' equals open-invite for gang-rape.' Apologised for the distress he may have caused. She is unsympathetic and demands justice.

She may have been in the wrong to post his uncensored photos online - the law is still working on catching up with social media - but if the Korean is in line with the English explanation in that post, the guy's actions were uncalled for and her response was justified.

Because words can hurt more than physical violence.

I wish the law reflected this.

Did the guy verbally accost a foreign girl in English? Or were his comments just translated into English and he was talking to a Korean girl? Didn't see if this was specified. Either way, he was acting like an a-hole.

Castle doctrine law in Texas.

http://guardianlv.com/2014/03/castle-doctrine-proves-deadly/

A father shot and killed his daughter's boyfriend this week in Texas. She snuck the boy in and when the father came in she said that she didn't know him, so he shot the kid. The daughter later admitted that she knew the boy. The father claimed that after he told the boy not to move, he saw the kid reach for something, so shot him.

It's gettinig really easy to get shot and killed in the best country in the world these days. And people will justify it to the police / courts and get away with it.

Hmmm ok well then I stand corrected, it looks like he is the stereotypical drunken old Korean man causing trouble. So I'm the one that needs to worry about my credibility here, sorry about that.

I guess at this point I just think it's hilarious how the society has come full circle. Old Korean man tries to publicly humiliate a young Korean girl by calling her out on a subway full of people, as a result young Korean girl ends up publicly humiliating old Korean man by taking his picture and showing it to the world. Interesting how society changes. I would feel bad for him if he wasn't doing the same thing to her on a smaller level.

In other words, if atwood disagrees with it, its derailing. If he agrees with it, its a fresh perspective being brought to the table.

You wouldn't know a "fresh perspective" if it bit you in the leg, casey jones.
