Having my first Kloud. Boo. It's better than...uh...Blatz? Makes the Queen's Ale seem like a fine quality brew in comparison.

I just figured it out- It's like Hite with a half shot of lukewarm soju poured into it.

SR, thanks for the very descriptive post. Kloud might be a bit like Max.

I know thats a joke, but just in case... that shit will kill you. Killed my repressed alcoholic uncle 10 years back.

I had a similar thing happen in my family. You'd think I wouldn't joke about it.

Crap. I had my hopes up. I was thinking it would be a Korean version of a Belgian White --- like Blue Moon, Hoegaarden, etc. If cAss is better, then what's the point?

I wanted to give Lotte the benefit of a doubt, but Lotte itself has nothing but crap products.

The wife bought a bottle of Kloud today to try it. I took one sip thinking it couldn't be that bad, but wow was I surprised at how bad it tasted...

I figured with a name like Kloud it would have been a hefeweizen, or something else that isn't CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Had some today at the company dinner. Thought I was drinking a cass or hite, to be honest. Korean brewing tradition still has quite a bit of catch-up to do with Japan..

Not trying to be funny or smart alecky, but what is a repressed alcoholic? I even googled with not much luck. Do you mean he repressed the urge for many years, but then fell off the wagon?

Kloud might be the best K-beer yet IMO..........meaning it's distinctly average in the world of beers.

Didn't like Aleston at all. Queens is just about drinkable if you've already had a few.

I did notice that Kloud and the other rash of euro-style beers coming out (no doubt because Koreans have finally began to realize that the Cass/OB/Hite triumvirate are astoundingly awful) have no sign of the maker on the main label of the cans. You have to read the hangul small print at the side to learn that they are K-beer.
