Ok so the majority of Dave's posters who responded have employed the services of a sex worker. My guesstimate, as much as it can be, was correct.

The only other question now is how representative of a typical male, Dave's posters are. I would say that with the proximity of countries like Thailand and the Philippines, plus the fact that most males who come here are single, it would skew it a little. Though i'm still not sure about WT's 85% who never have figure. Sounds way too high to me.

Oh, so you've paid for it and are trying to convince yourself that "everyone else does it too". Stats from many different places all over the world show very few women (as a percentage of the population) engage in prostitution, and when they do, it is not for very long. The majority of men (on anonymous surveys- where there would be no shame factors) say that have never visited a prostitute. And why would they. It is illegal; who in their right mind would want to risk getting a criminal record over that, there is a high risk of getting an STD (some of which are incurable), and it is really expensive, which is a huge waste of money. It is gross. In my city I didn't even know where the prostitutes were (because there weren't that many of them). It's a dirty industry. And it's an industry most men don't have first hand knowledge of.
