No, I said that 61,000 is my income tax deduction. My pension and medical are being deducted in addition to that, at the appropriate amount.

| Are you going off of what your employer is telling you for deductions or are you verifying the amounts deducted and salary reported to the agencies concerned? Let's say it's not unheard of for a dodgy employer in Korea to report an employee's salary at half the actual rate, deduct the correct rate on the whole salary, turn over to the appropriate agency the rate based on the incorrectly reported salary, and pocket the difference. |
