Not surprising. Remember after a drunk angry adjushi burned down Sungnyemun the people trusted with restoring it stole some money from the restoration funds.

That's Korean males in a nutshell (gyopos included). Can't control their tempers or their greed, because no-one has ever taught them how. A pathetic bunch.

Must burn you up inside having to work for one.

Not really. I don't work for an adjushi and I have more pity for them, than rage. These kind of people are stunted, immature like half-wits. I also pity you, and your desperate attempts at getting attention on a message board.

Yeah, the guy bashing people on the internet isn't seeking attention. Rolling Eyes

That's actually an interesting comparison besides being a fairly agile comeback, Paulie.

But wouldn't a better one be with the screaming Korean kid?

Although not about apartments, my wife is currently having to deal with a bunch of seedy practices and bribery issues. She's an accountant/bookkeeper and has been working at her current location for about a year. She told me the books were a mess and the way they'd been doing things were terrible. I remember making a joke that her boss was trying to cover something up (according to her, the owner seems to be using the company as an ATM, as is his sister who also works there). Over the course of the last year, that's pretty much what she's found. Somebody then called the tax office and they came in and did an investigation, only to find all the things my wife had found, we're talking serious violations of the law. Now my wife's boss wants her to fix or create some paperwork for office expenses so he can pay off a guy at the tax office, just so his fine won't be so much. She tells me the fine is still going to be huge, so I really don't see the point in paying the guy off. She doesn't want to do it but at the same time needs to stay until December to get her severance. It really bothers her and has her all stressed out, which is ruining my otherwise generally happy mood.

Action it's not unusual for accountants in Korea to quit their job when gross irregularities start appearing. They don't want to risk being blamed for it. Don't let your wife get mixed up in it. A severance package is not worth going to jail over.
