It's not quite like that. Sin taxes can pay for the social programs that Koreans could start to help the poor and people that are alcoholics. |

| No need for a sin tax, the government could just stop subsidizing the soju industry which makes the stuff so cheap. I wonder if the ban includes those tables outside of marts or mountains. I did like to drink at those places occasionally, it was nice to have a beer after getting to the top of a mountian. |
