I noticed that. Apparently every single national university raised the teaching contact hours to 20 (except for one which is still at 18 apparently) with vacation shrunk to only 4 week breaks. All have these same conditions so I'm guessing there's been standardization. (Better than public school for sure, but significantly worse than before.) |

As universities are funded by tax payer money, perhaps you think vacation time should shrink there as well. Why not have free English classes for students who want them during breaks? And/or kiddie classes. No extra payment for the NET though. He is simply going to serve the community. |
You are replaceable. If you want to change this, find a way to make yourself irreplaceable. |

Left Korea. Working in an industry where everything is based around one year contract work is guaranteeing that you will always be replaceable. |
