Well I'm still here in Korea. But some days, hell, perhaps most days, I think why am I here? I'm not having a real good time. I'm just making a few bucks, saving a few bucks. Other than that I'd like to take off. The Korea--hagwon deal isn't so good for just taking off though. Get a week off at the end of August. Think I'll check out Vietnam then, vacation and potential job exploration.

Contract ends in 6 months. Hanging out till then sometimes feels like too long. Sometimes feel like an inmate here. But will try to persevere. Haven't seen most of the family in a long time, so want to visit Canada (Newf.) before somebody dies or something!

We'll see, I guess.

I understand what yaya said too. It isn't location so much as the kind of life you have wherever you are. Well, location can matter a bit. I think some places are more suitable than others for a guy like me anyway. Plus a place like Korea, as a "hagwonner", can get wearisome.

Dudes, get outta the hagwon B.S. Get a job on the outskirts by all means but live in the centre or there abouts; since i got my own accomodation iv seen more of Seoul and had a better time in two months than in the eight months I was living in some rinky dink town. It was only 45 mins outta the centre but trust me, thats enough to stop u doing ANYTHING productive. Join the motly crew
