well, i'll introduce you to 3 of them... let me know.
i guess i didn't apply to the same crap as did the 99% of the people in your poll.
my first year, i worked at an international prep school.
second a university connected hagwan.
third. university...so i guess that don't count.
now... heaven.
the point that you still choose to avoid, once again, is.... who the hell cares about 4 lousy months????? |
I would assume that whoever wrote the OP isn't gonna be wroking at a snooty prep school or a university. Probably just a hagwon, so your experiences are irrelevant. A teacher who's been here for 4 months is a far better teacher than one who has no experience. It all counts. If you don't understand this maybe you're in the wrong line of work. |

oh christ...
the prep school was a hakwan. it was for students preparing to study abroad. it wasn't snooty at all.
so...not irrelevant.
yes, the university doesn't count, i already said that. you're quite sharp!
the hakwan i work now checks ALL references.
as did the previous one i worked at...AND the one i ALMOST worked at.
as for the 4month thing. total bs. most hakwans care so little about experience that small, no less than they care about crappy 30hour tesol certificates.
how do i know? well, because i have friends who recruit. and they are amazed at how many hakwans actually want people with NO EXPERIENCE.
maybe it's to screw em over, or maybe it's to keep the disgruntled maggots away. i dunno....but hey, maybe you do. |

just because, i worked at a kids herald.
another question, will i have trouble getting a second E2 if I ran once and the school contacted Immigration. I know for a fact they did because I still talk to the other foreign teachers who worked there with me. I will be going on a different passport, but I don't think that should matter cause it'll still be on record. Should I get all of my paperwork and visa stuff here in Canada before I go just in case, or will the getting the visa over there not be a problem. I know I sound like a kid right out of university but really, I'm not, I just want to know what time frame to tell any recruiters. Thanks. |
