I shipped my hdd from England (tried to copy the .wav samples from it to CDs but it was taking forever..), threw the RAM, soundcard and it's breakout box into my suitcase with a sheet of bubblewrap for protection and bought what I needed over here.
Since the computer I bought came with a new hard drive and a (dodgy) disk of Win2K I just installed that on the new HDD and used my old hard drive as storage for the samples.
I've booted up my old version of windows from the english HDD with no problems though. |
