Hmm...the laws of child physics I can understand. But does anyone have a theory as to why the heater gets turned on full blast, then all the windows get opened? It would seem like a better idea to turn the heater to half and leave the windows closed, but maybe that's just a crazy Canadian idea.....

The windows get opened because those heaters emit lots of carbon monoxide. I assumed the fridge sized one in my classroom was properly vented, and got a mild case of CO poisoning as a result. Not fun.

I made mine, cause I figured the circles would be too far appart for the little ones. I cut the circles from construction papaer, then laminated them and taped them onto the floor, pretty close together. Instead of a spinner, I made flash cards for right foot/left foot, and right hand/ left hand for each color.

I think the kids mostly know right from left now, and they had fun, so all is good.


That's great. I'm going to try and steal that.
