First, I went on a movie marathon.
Second, I went on a drinking marathon.
Third, I finally spent some marathon time on the ESL forum.
Fourth, I ordered pizza.
Fifth, I had some power sleeping sessions.
Sixth, I went to a sauna to work off the hangover.
Seventh, repeat...repeat...repeat. |

| Some pretty crappy looking pipes there JG. I assume you spent a lengthy amount of time wrestling with them. |

They probably look crappier than they really are, Eamo. The larger pipes are not only in good working order after 20 years, but I trust them to last longer than the pipes we were preparing to replace them with. I don't mean this as a swipe at Korea, as it's happening all over the world. But a lot of the modern advances in construction materials and techniques -- especially plumbing -- are nothing more than cost-cutting, time-saving tricks that just degrade the quality, durability and even the appearance of a structure.
Let me tell you, it's a nasty job just getting down into that pit (in the photo), and then crawling through these pitch black little corridors on your hands & knees, full of dusty spiderwebs, expecting to find the carcass of some long-dead thing around every corner.
Weird things we've unearthed so far include... Nahhh, I'm going to save that for my Our House thread. |
