If you guys want to avoid the few hookers who are out on hooker hill during the day, you can always us the hill that runs parallel to hooker hill.
If you don't know it, just go past hooker hill until youre at King Club and turn left. You'll see G-Spot Night Club and Soho on your right as you walk up the hill. At the top turn right, go to the end and turn left. The rest you should know

A tip off are the names of the bars- "Always Homme"; "The G-Spot". Gay bars are super fun- I think that for women, there's a certain level of freedom you can feel in a gay bar. You can get wild and crazy and not have horny guys try to get with you (or follow you around all night).

This was kind of the death of the gay ghetto in Toronto. It's still there but there are a lot more straight couples walking around too. It kind of went like this: single professional woman notices the gay district is a place she can shop and eat and walk around at night and not have men harass her. She feels kind of safe around the gay population (one female friend commented "I could walk around topless and not have a man say a word."). She finds all kinds of nice furniture and knick knack shops there too. There are nice bars, restaurants, flamboyant fun people. She finds a nice apartment in the area. Builders take note the area is in demand from professional women and start building expensive condos. Straight men take note lots of straight women are locating there. Straight men move in too, meet straight women, and they have babies.

Hmm, there are maybe 4 bars and two clubs on that street. That's it.

If you weren't a gay pervert when you started walking up the street, you still won't be one by the time you've walked past those modern-day Sodom and Gomorrahs.

You don't have to take either hill. Keep going past hooker hill and homo hill and take the next hill. The mosque is on the top of this street and take a right at the mosque to What The Book and Abbies.
