too bad there was no foreigner involved, then they could have just blamed him and said the foreigner forced them to take drugs!
hahahaha

Mr. K and H? So, I guess the reporters aren't putting their faces on TV like they would if they were foreigners.

You mean like this from a few years back?

The Korea Herald wrote:

Several foreign players with local professional basketball teams are under investigation for alleged drug use, following the recent drug scandal that hit Korea's entertainment industry.

Prosecutors in Uijeongbu, north of Seoul, booked Jackie Jones of KCC Egis without physical detention Saturday for allegedly smoking and possessing hashish, a narcotic made from the cannabis plant.

The Uijeongbu Branch Office of the Seoul District Public Prosecutor's Office also arrested a 27-year-old Korean, identified only by his surname Seo, on charges of smoking the drug.

Remember that they keep, and publish, crime statistics based on race.

Cannabis is not a drug; it's an herb, indeed an herb with psychic healing powers. It is God's aspirin. It is not addictive, nor has it ever been known to be lethal. It's not for everyone; those with frail self-esteem might not enjoy the experience. But it is, for many of those who choose it, a quieter, gentler alternative to drinking one's brains out.

I agree with everything you wrote AFTER the semi-colon in the first sentence.

There is no contradiction between calling something a herb and calling it a drug.

Tell that to the ever-increasing legion of those suffering psychosis from the ever-stronger strains being produced. Like everything, there is a risk with it and I wouldn't advocate its prohibition for a minute. Still, I am a little sceptical when I hear stuff like this from ganja evangelists. Rolling Eyes
