It goes with the program...sometimes you luv it when you are a foreigner (the easy money, easy-to-find jobs) and hate it (kids staring, etc).
I was shocked though how "foreign" you have to be get a job. I went on a job interview in Apgujong and the interviewer (not director) told me that I wasn't "white" enough to get the job, not his fault, he said, but that's what Apgujong parents want. Rolling Eyes

I'm with eamo

The "victim mentality" is getting old. A lot of people have difficult lives and pasts. Sometimes many Koreans freak out and make a national issue over things that are really not that large. They are only important to Koreans, and most of the rest of the world hardly even knows about them. And they drag it out way too long and carry grudges a long time. They are easily offended and do not laugh about themselves enough. I think they don't take a joke very well, especially coming from a foreigner.

They are now a prosperous country with an important economy. It would be nice if they enjoyed that more, and perhaps understood that billions of people envy their prosperity.

Poly that's the root of my problem. Does anyone have a set of blue contacts, blonde hair dye and elevator shoes? PM me.
