I agree. Unfortunately, I have been to almost every place on the list (I am a firm believer in domestic tourism) Gangneung is a really nice beach, and a trip down to the nooks and crannies in Cheolla Namdo is really worth embarking on. I know the area quite well, including some beaches that are quite secluded. (even in the summer time you won't see many other people there). I also believe that people in Cholla Namdo (especially the more remote parts) are the friendliest in Korea. Lets keep this thread alive, and sort something out. |

| Forget Cholla. They are rednecks. The best part of Korea is Gyeongsangnam-do. Namhae and Geoje islands are the most stunning places I have seen in Korea. Mountains risong to almost 1000 meters coming right out of the deep blue sea. Driving on roads that wind around these mountains is fantastic. You have awesome views at every turn. |
