i am in the opposite situation; i am korean who have decided to spend the rest of my life here in the states. why? very similar to all of your reasons mentioned here.

good money and comfortable life. i love the city where i live in and am in love with my house. besides, i am afraid that i wouldn't be able to adjust to korean life even if i go back.

For expensive houses, head North of Han

While apartments in Gangnam, southern Seoul, are widely considered the symbol of wealth and success, there are actually a number of far more expensive houses in Gangbuk, northern Seoul.

We are talking prestige. Prestige isnt just real estate costs, its also perception. Thats why Kangnam, and specifically Daechidong, is the most prestigious area.

Yep. I know that. You're Manahattan to my Beverly Hills.

You know, DW, I get depressed when I read your Kangnam-booster posts. (btw, I do like your choice of romanisation there) I feel I truly wasted my years living across the creek. I mean, three or four good years there just frittered away, without once exercising my global bragging rights like you do. Damn, what was I thinking!!! Evil or Very Mad

Daechidong in Kangnam? Unless its Daechidong, you cant claim "most prestigious are" status you poseur.

Who the f@@k are you to tell me where is and where isn't prestigious?

Maybe, as you live there, you could spend some of your money on getting typing lessons so that you posts make a bit more sense.

Simply put, Daechidong is widely considered to be THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS neighborhood in Seoul. Not by me, but by Koreans. Your neighborhood stands no chance in a direct confrontation with the forces of Daechidong.

That kind of proves what a complete and utter tosser you really are, as you think that you may be above me because of where you live.

Sadly, my neighbourhood ir ruined by one simple thing.

Me too. Where else can I get paid cdn$3500+ a month to work 4 days a week and have 16 weeks of vacation. I have so much time for hobbies and recreation I wouldn't know how to live if I had to get a job working 9-5.

Im the King of Daechidong TM. Didnt you know?

Jongno is correct. I am infact being selfless. I'm only looking out for Toby, as a good monarch should. Looking out for my subjects, lest they commit a faux pas in polite society. You should really thank me Toby. Thank your King.
