Do you ever write in cursive for anything other than signing your name?

I always print. I have never seen a Korean use cursive writing, except some kids might like to try it sometimes. In VN it was funny to see the VN teacher using cursive and all the young kids, age 6-8, writing beautifully in cursive. Quite a contrast from Korea.

I printed through highschool....then i learned Russian for which you always use cursive. So now when I write I use cursive, I used to have really sloppy cursive (hence my switch to print in Highschool) but after relearning it Russian style it fixed a lot in my English script.

I think my favorite moment though was when my Korean boss (whose English is really good) handed me a letter my co-worker had written and said I can't read his messy writing. I look at it and it is a written in cursive, wickedly neat cursive. I just laughed and read it to her.

bottom line, so long as they can read English they are getting it in cursive.

As a victim of catholic school education, I literally have to THINK to print something. My natural handwriting is cursive...it is just second nature. Print was not allowed after 3rd grade in my school. Thats not to say that my cursive is any good-from 3rd grade on, my report card was consistently A A A A A C- (cursive)
Oh well, so much for that.\
But I do think its MUCH faster than print.

My handwriting is horrible. It generally moves from one style to another even within words.

Thank goodness for comptuers.
