| I can't agree with JongnoGuru more though we are obviously in different fields... but it isn't just the last minute rush to get everything done that bothers me. My Korean co-teachers are always complaining about how much work they have to do (though it's not much by anyone's standards) and yet they will purposefully leave concrete planning until the last minute before submitting it to our for approval. Of course, by the time they do this there is only so much time left to actually get the event up and running so that when Mrs. High and Mighty comes down with the ax on three-quarters of what they've planned they cry about how much work they have to do and the whole thing comes off half-assed. This waiting to the last minute combined with the inability of my boss to have any kind of command over what's going on in her own school makes it so that any question we ask them comes back with an "I don't know" or a "It's not confirmed yet." And then they complain about how how the event turns out... what a bunch of maroons! |
