You can't get much worse than that Suwon public school teacher who beat his female student into a bloody pulp; broken bones, knocked out teeth, concusion, etc..

Sure they fired his sorry ass (no criminal proceedings), but what gets me is that the other students and teachers just sat around and watched it happened. Though one student did use her cell phone to make that infamous video.

I would rather not smack a student. That is the job of the VP. Althought, after being "dongchimed" I did come very close!

When I was a jr. high student, I got a hit on my face by a teacher in front of all of students. The teacher hit me because I observed the school regulations that we were not allowed to go to rock concerts. He oerdered me to consider why I should had got a hit. I couldnt find a right reason and still not. I thought he had no idea for a warning and he did to protect trashy authority of the school, teachers and himself. I exactly remember his furious expression. At the moment I was catching his punch, my voice in my head was saying This is too funny!

A few students whom I wasnt familiar with railed him, but most of students including my friends were just looking at us.

By the occurrence, I learned that I have to protect myself by myself, also that there are still some people whom I can trust. Do I have a grudge him? Never, ever. He taught me that there are some petty-minded adults who cant control their emotion, and I realized teachers are also mere human. ( Under Confucianism, teachers must be respected in Japan too.) I appreciate that he gave me a lesson.

Did the violence I got caused next violence? No. Ive never hit anybody and wanted. I do not support any violence and I believe violence makes nothing happy; however, my little bit sore-cheek experience wasnt so bad for me to learn life. Rolling Eyes
